As a child, I was under the spell of everything to do with superheroes. Gradually I realised that my parents were the real superheroes of today as they dedicated their lives to the future of my sister and me. We wanted to honour them by naming our first child after them (Jorit = Johan & Rita). Jor-EL is a contraction of the names of our 2 children, Jorit and Ella, and Jor-EL is also the spiritual father of Kal-EL, better known as Superman.
The Jor-EL method is a complete training and nutrition philosophy, developed for athletes who want to develop their strength and muscle mass in a motivating and responsible way and who want to optimize their body composition, all this from a healthy mindset..
The Jor-EL method is suitable for any healthy* athlete with a passion for fitness and strength training, regardless of gender, age or background. If you are triggered by physical and mental strength, and want to practice strength training in the most professional, effective and responsible way, then Jor-EL is for you. *Fanatic strength athletes who are currently struggling with injuries and/or overloads, I recommend starting with Jor-EL Personal Training in order to be able to complete an individual screening in order to be able to work around the existing problems.
The Jor-EL method is not suitable for people with severe physical and/or mental disabilities. Moreover, the Jor-EL method is not suitable for people who have no affinity with strength training.
Yes, for “Online Coaching” you must have some experience with the basic movements such as bench presses, squats, rows and deadlifts in order to be eligible. Even if you have experience, you will learn a lot through the regular Masterclasses within the Jor-EL Community. Do you have no experience with strength training yet, but are you eager to learn? Ideal! It’s very interesting if you don’t have any experience yet, because then you don’t have to learn bad habits before learning the right ones. Contact me, and I’ll see if I can schedule you to learn the tricks of the trade in person. That way you will be ready to attack the schedules in a short period of time.
